The project of interiors of public zones of movie theater “Lyuksor” was realized in shopping and recreation center “Morye Moll” in 2012 by architects Yuliy Borisov, Vladimir Garanin, Irina Kolokolova and Julia Tryaskina. Public spaces occupy 800 of 2800 sq.m of the area of cineplex. At two levels of a complex the cash zone, two restaurants and snack bar are situated. In the project unique architectural concepts were applied: interior “cover” in the form of the undulated flowing sphere which bypassing suspended communications and front covers of different depth, smoothly passes from one space to another uniting them. The polished round mirrors located on all perimeter of a ceiling of a complex angle wise diffuse beams from projectors evenly filling in all space with light. When developing the concept of a cover and its subsequent implementation the UNK project team used the three-dimensional program modeling which allowed to create non-standard and thus functional interior. The award ceremony will take place on November 28, 2013 in Saatchi gallery in London.
