21.06.2013
On June 21 the round table “From construction to a townplanning. Current trends of architecture and development” took place. Yuliy Borisov, the chief architect and the cofounder of UNK project became one of the participants of it.
Such questions as arrangement of the modern city quarters, new functions of infrastructure objects and the way the evolution of an urban environment is changing the real estate market were discussed. One of the important aspects, mentioned in discussion, was a possibility of suspension of developer projects until the problem of transport availability which troubles metropolitans a lot is solved. Projects under construction and perspective projects of residential and commercial real estate are capable to redouble the situation even more.
According to Yuliy Borisov, the current situation shouldn't have essential impact on activity of builders. “Before suspending projects, it is necessary to look at experience of other countries. In America and Europe there is out migration and the cities die. Moscow on the contrary is developing therefore it is important not to miss this moment not to stop. Thus now in the west of the city they fight for quality of the population, not for money or investments. Today developer projects different on scale must mainly carry out the function of creation of the high-quality, many-sided personalities. The main areas of developers, architects and maintainers activities consists of it”.
